Industrial Operations Team Leader

Full Time – Monday – Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Instruct clients on a daily basis by use of demonstration, modeling, verbal instruction and behavior modification techniques. Training and instruction will be utilized toward change or modification of necessary skills and behaviors to enhance the individual client’s identification with the worker role. Works directly with clients having various disabilities/handicaps including mental retardation, developmental disabilities, mental illness, behavioral disorders, educational/social deficits, cerebral palsy and various physical disabilities (paralysis, hearing/visual impairments, amputees, etc.) Work directly with assigned AWS Industrial Operations customer to assure quality products delivered on a timely basis. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Supervise daily client behavior and report findings. Stay current on all clients ISP goals, meds, and behavior plans in their client caseload. Maintain ISO 9001 operator work instructions on all assigned Industrial Operation customers. Supply assigned clients with necessary work tools, supplies, and operator work instructions. Assign work tasks to clients base on their skills and abilities driven by customer production needs. Individual/group instruction regarding positive work behaviors, acceptable work performance, positive work attitudes, work relationships, etc. Instruct clients regarding use of hand tools, equipment, organization of work, safety, etc. Participate in production meeting held by Director /Production Manager. Prepare 11th month Individual Support Plan Assessment for all clients on their posted caseload. Prepare monthly ISP review report on assigned clients in their caseload. Maintain current working file for all clients on their caseload. Document and reports safety problems/clients incidents. Document daily production information as necessary for reporting to the Production Manager. Documents daily client activity on an on‑going basis throughout the work day, recording time, jobs assigned, piece counts, etc., as necessary to determine client pay. Complies with all department and agency policies and procedures. Monitor and assist clients as necessary during break/lunch/restroom periods.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer college/university exposure and degree. Prefer experience in training and/or experience in industry. Forklift Certification as required. Valid drivers license and vehicle insurance.
