The South Bend Office is looking for an experienced  Administrative Assistant for the Supported Living Team. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative  support, including secretarial and receptionist duties. This position is direct support to the Supported Living Director and administrative support to the department.

The essential functions of the position will be:

  1. Open, maintain and close files as directed for the Supported Living Department
  2. Create, maintain and close Excel spreadsheets
  3. Perform record retention
  4. Administrative duties as assigned: filing, copying, faxing, shredding, typing, mail distribution, maintaining spreadsheets
  5. Coordinate order of office supplies and servicing of equipment
  6. Coordinate IT needs
  7. Receptionist duties as assigned for coverage
  8. Provide training and computer support for new staff
  9. Provide training of CPR and First Aid for staff
  10. Attend meetings of Supported Living  Director to take meeting minutes, type minutes and distribute as needed
  11. Other duties as assigned

Prior office administration or secretarial experience is preferred. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.
