Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant

REPORTS TO: Program Supervisor

SUPERVISES: None

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide support to the Infant & Toddler Connection program and staff to ensure successful

completion of activities, data entry is complete and accurate, files are maintained accurately,

and communication is effective with all customers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collect, organize, maintain, and enter data accurately and appropriately.

2. Ensure documentation submitted to the office is properly processed and filed.

3. Assist providers as needed.

4. Answer phone calls.

5. Complete referral forms for phone referrals.

6. Set-up child records upon referral.

7. Create and maintain consumer files as required.

8. Receive, process, and disseminate consumer information.

9. Communicate effectively with staff and consumers to ensure all needs are met.

10. Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all staff and clients we serve.

11. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Excellent organizational and communication skills

2. Experience with Microsoft office applications

3. Valid Virginia Driver’s License.
