Job Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate the orderly delivery of services between the Residential Program, other Benchmark
Human Services programs, and community services with which the resident may be involved.
Coordinate and manage the operation of group homes and supervise staff. Must be willing to flex
schedule according to client’s needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support small group home setting by protecting the individual’s health, safety, and respect.
  2. Train and ensure support staff deliver high quality outcomes for individual’s served.
  3. Actively work alongside support staff in the home and the community.
  4. Coordinate medical oversight along side group home nurse.
  5. Other duties as assigned.
  6. Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
  7. Report to work as scheduled.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of direct support professionals
  2. Understanding of state and federal regulations
  3. Ability to multi-task.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field, plus one year experience working with people with
developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting.
